Obituary for Olga Latushko (Warivonchik)
Olga Latushko, 88, of Rutherford, passed away at home suddenly on Saturday, September 17th, 2016.
Born in New York, she grew up in Newark where she attended Westside HS and graduated in 1945. Olga married Fred in 1950 and lived in North Arlington before moving to Rutherford, where she was a resident for 62 years. Olga retired from ADP, after working there for 40 years.
Olga always had a passion for Russian Folk dancing. She performed with the Glinka Russian Folk Dancers, where she also sang in the choir and taught the children's group. She always talked about her celebration dance in Times Square at the end of the WWII. Olga enjoyed traveling, gardening and going to the Broadway theatre and concerts. She was a member of the Arrow Park Social Club, Lemko Resort-NY, Rutherford PTA & Little League. Most of all, Olga loved spending time with each of her seven grandchildren.
Olga was predeceased by her husband Fred (1987), she will be deeply missed by her children; Dennis Latushko & his wife Annamarie, Paul Latushko & his wife Linda, Steven Latushko, Donna Muhleisen & her husband Dave, her grandchildren; Ashley, Jenna, Lauren, Greg, Rachel, Katie and Jack. She is predeceased by her brother, Walter Warivonchik.
Funeral Wednesday 11:30am in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave. Rutherford followed by a 12:30am Prayer Service by Archpriest George Konyev . Interment following in Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst.
Family will receive friends Tuesday 4:00pm to 8:30pm.
